I've been professionally photographing women since 2014 and along the way I decided to ditch the male gaze to focus on shooting women the way I saw them: playful + powerful.
In order to do that, I hold space for you - giving you the opportunity to embrace your personal style, show off your assets and celebrate being you all while channeling the almighty Blanche Devereaux.
In my experience, feeling empowered doesn't come from using an excessive amount of props/costumes. This genre isn't a performance, it's an embodiment.
I'll hold your hand along the way, this session is designed with you in mind. You don't have to figure out what to wear, what to bring, how to do your hair or make-up. I will take care of it, and you, gorgeously.
Boudoir is for anyone who has a body. Period. If you’ve got a body it was built for boudoir. Your body is a wonderful, distinctive and precious vessel that serves you every day. It should be celebrated. It’s my job to help you see it through photographs, so you can then feel it.
Before the shoot, Krysta was super helpful with picking out my outfits and readily answered any question I had about the process. She really made sure I knew exactly what to expect. She starts the session out with hair and makeup and a chat over coffee before you get started, which really helped me feel comfortable. Krysta really goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at ease in her studio. I had no idea how to pose or what to do with my hands, but Krysta didn't allow me to feel uncomfortable for a second, as she posed me so naturally and had such an eye for good poses.
A week later, we met again over Zoom to go over the gallery reveal of the photos, which was basically just Krysta and me excitedly yelling over how obsessed we were with the photos for about an hour.
I invite you to join my private Facebook Group, a tiny speck on the internet where you’ll find a safe community of women who have shared their experience and are proud to share their boudoir photos freely. You’ll find first hand accounts, selfie-tips, positivity, upcoming promotions and encouragement.
