GRATITUDES + BREAKTHROUGHS 02.25.18
Gratitudes
Last week, I got back on track with my business to-do list. I finally got my email subscription set up on my website so y’all can sign up and stay in the loop for mini session details, album + print sales and so much more!
I also build two client albums that I am so excited to send off in March!
I decided to start a separate IG account for yoga. You’ll be able to find me on @BalancedBonesYoga to peep my recent work with studios + teachers!
Saturday I had a wedding at Brandy Hill Farm in Culpeper with Brandilynn Aines. It’s been about 2 months since I’ve been able to spend time with her, she moved from Northern Virginia back down to Virginia Beach to be closer to family. We rocked the wedding – even with the constant rain – and had a chill night back at my house. We watched a sappy Hallmark movie with ice cream + Italian ice. Sunday morning we woke up early to grab brunch at Mason Dixon in Stafford before she headed south on 95. Their brunch was so damn good. I ordered a Southern Breakfast Biscuit, it was bacon, egg and pimento cheese on a homemade biscuit with homefries. We also decided to split sausage gravy and biscuits between us and it was the best decision we made that morning!
I finally ponied up and joined Match.com. So many of my couples have met online and while I’ve tried OkCupid and Coffee Meets Bagel with decent luck I decided to hop on one of the OG and most popular sites to try my luck there. It’s been a learning curve with their app but I’m getting used to it. I’ve been lazy on creating my about me write up. They feel so forced and generic. Everyone has a good sense of humor, loves to travel, enjoys a balance between work/play, and up for anything. Ha! I’m planning on drafting a list of the things I actually want in a partner and to really focus in on that as well as actually writing an about me that’s a little more personal and vulnerable. I probably won’t keep y’all updated on any dates because somethings should be kept offline and private. Just send all of your positive dating vibes my way so I don’t end up with an inbox full of eggplant pics and terrible pick-up lines.
Confession // I never got around to actually painting my nails. Eek! I know. This happens from time to time, but I sat down last night and followed through with that red I was craving! I ended up going with Big Apple Red! You’ll find it on my Insta-Stories!
Breakthroughs
I’ve done this a few times, but I’m going to leave this blank. Sometimes I need two weeks to marinate on the things I’m working through.
As always, thanks for reading! xo.
