INTRODUCTION //

I’m Krysta, a wedding + portrait photographer as well as invitation designer located in Virginia. I’m an active yogi that started practicing Bikram 7 years ago and most recently switched over to a heated vinyasa. I’m a proud Momma to a slightly overweight, super cuddly and sometimes defiant Miniature Pinscher named Ava Jean. I always have my nails painted – always – and have been addicted to OPI nail polish for almost a decade, I currently own over 100 colors so I can throw out color names like “Big Apple Red,” Tickle My France-Y,” “Lucky Lucky Lavender” or “Lincoln Park After Dark,” in regular conversation. I snagged a record player a few years back with a box full of an eclectic mix like Aretha Franklin, Credence Cool Water Revival, Bob Marley, Tom Petty and even George Jones. The hunt for records at thrift stores has quickly become a favorite weekend activity. I enjoy being outdoors so hiking day trips and mountain views at a local winery happen pretty often for me too.I’m also very particular about my coffee cup, I have certain criteria that they need to meet in order to enjoy my daily cup(s) of coffee. I’m partial to Italian espresso and cappuccinos, ever since I visited that magical country. In addition to their coffee specialities, I fell in love with the language and their joyfully-relaxed way of life. Over the years travel has become a big part of my life, nothing motivates me more than my need to see other parts of the world and experience their culture. I never fly without a bag of Haribo gummy bears, travel book and nail polish.

In the past I’ve kept my blog and social media strictly business and it’s time to change that; I’m going to open up aspects for my life to you. It only seems fair as you are sharing such intimate moments with me. So be prepared to see more images of my yoga journey, quick snaps of my pup, probably OPI nail polish, unnecessary but appreciated coffee shots, travel adventures and more.
