GRATITUDES + BREAKTHROUGHS 10.08.19
Gratitudes
Amanda + Michael had the sweetest backyard wedding on Sunday! They decided to tie the knot at their dream home, the one they built almost 1 year ago! They were surrounded by close family and friends while their white german shepherd, Remington walked Amanda down the aisle. After the ceremony we walked their property for their romantic portraits, isn’t their backyard the prettiest?! Then we went into Old Town Warrenton for a few more portraits and ended the night with a celebration at Claire’s at the Depot!
I had a sunrise engagement session on the Mount Vernon Trail with Lia + Kyle! It’s a favorite spot for Lia because she runs it a few times a week, and the views of the monuments from the other side of the river are pretty great! This couple is getting married next year at Stone Tower Winery, one of my all time favorite venues!
I spent the early part of the week with Rachel of The One Moment Events in Charlottesville! We co-worked, ordered Thai and relaxed with my go-to red wine this season En Passant from Walsh Family Wine. We also walked down to the mall for Grit Coffee – excellent hazelnut latte – and popped into a used bookstore where I grabbed Walt Whitman and E.B. White!
I’ve continued into my second full week of Orange Theory and I’m feeling good, sore and accomplished! I’m still trying to get into a groove and understand the workout flows, but all and all I’m liking it!
Just as a reminder it is fall wedding season and my weekends are full. Like, shooting two weddings a weekend full plus 2020 engagement session, so if you and your family are wanting a session the only availability I have left are Mini Sessions on November 3. You’ll find a link below to grabbed your spot!
November 3 – Mini Sessions
Breakthroughs
I’ve been reminded at how good I feel when I consistently workout. I know you’re thinking, “Krysta it’s literally been 2 weeks, chill.” But, I do feel really good. I’m developing a new routine to workout in the morning and then head to a coffee shop to get started on work with a clear head. I’ve been asked recently if I’m still practicing yoga and the answer is yes, but not at a studio currently. I’ve been craving a cardio and weight based workout for a few years now and OT is really hitting the spot. It might change and I’ll incorporate yoga again in that rotation, but for right now I’m gathering up all of the splat points and loving the treadmill workouts!
